On November 20, 2014, President Obama reiterated enforcement priorities and announced deportation relief for nearly 5 million undocumented workers in the U.S.

However, workers at Ruprecht Company, meatpacking plant in Illinois, have faced arrests and firings after Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raided the company as they were in the middle of negotiating a new union contract.

The operation put hardworking immigrants out of work. Today, we ask that the Chicago ICE Field Office Director Ricardo Wong be fired.

UNITE HERE and allies are calling for action to be taken against those responsible for violating the rights of Ruprecht workers in two easy steps:

  1. Watch and share newly released video documenting the story at Ruprecht.
  1. Click here to tweet @ICEgov and demand accountability.
