500 Disney Cast Members’ Jobs At Risk

ORLANDO, FL- The Central Florida Hospitality Union, UNITE HERE, will hold a press conference regarding the Trump administration’s announcement about Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haitian immigrants.

Nearly 500 Haitian Disney Cast Members are covered by TPS, which administration officials are recommending not be extended.  Some of those Cast Members and union leaders will discuss the effect on those 500 workers, their communities and the region’s economy.

The group demands that the Trump administration extend TPS for the nearly 50,000 affected Haitians living in the U.S.

Note: TPS for Hondurans and Salvadorans is set to expire in 2018.
