November 6, 2017: UNITE HERE Slams Termination of Nicaraguan TPS, Delay on Honduran TPS as Cruel

The Trump Administration has declared it will end Temporary Protected Status, or TPS, which could put more than 320,000 people under threat to be deported to devastated countries. The Department of Homeland Security says it will announce whether it will extend TPS for most people at risk on November 6.

UNITE HERE has launched a national campaign to save TPS with lobbying efforts in Washington, D.C. and actions all across the country on Thursday, October 26. You can make a difference—if you act now. Sign and share UNITE HERE’s petition to President Trump and the acting head of DHS, Elaine Duke.
